Still life

This was one of the best photos because it really captures the bottle as the subject.   The angle that we are looking at it is also very interesting.
This picture really shows the focus on the soap dispenser, but if I had taken out the red package in the background it would have come out a bit better.
The slight shadows on the doll's face, and the depth of field really give this picture that special something.  I changed my aperture on this picture.
This photo is a bit confusing as it is a very nice picture, but the focus was on the background, making the subject a bit fuzzy!
This picture really shows the paper as the subject.  The shadows are in favor of it, and the background is not too messy.

Capturing movement- favorite shots ( I NEED TO ADD NAMES)

This is a good photo because the movement of water is truly captured.  Also the depth of field helps to make this a very good picture as well.

This set of picture as well truly captures the movement of her hair,
and the background does not take away from the pic.
This picture is of you, Prof. Levin, and 2 other students.  This captures the idea that you are going to dive off the wall, which makes for an ideal illusion.

Alexa Meade

(A DC native!)
Image result for alexa meade why she's important
This photograph never ceases to amaze me.  the girl truly seems to be a painting!! this illusion is truly amazing to me.
This photographer takes a whole new spin on photography, and art.  She mixes photography with painting to create amazing delusions that make us think about what is reality and what is not.  Her goal is to photograph a person but to make it seem like a painting, therefore surprising the person looking at the picture.  This type of art really makes us think and is really important to the ever-changing dynamics of photography
For example, she did an amazing job of making the subject the main thing that you look at, and she did an amazing job of capturing the angles and making it look as tho it is a painting.

Favorite Landscapes

This is good because the horizon line really acts as a leading line, as well as the ramps.  The usage of the rule of thirds in this one is also nice.
This was a good picture because it really uses the leading lines very well and you follow the line of shrubs, and the line of the fence.
